"My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand." John 10:27-28

Another lovely Eric Gill work - so aptly illustrating that lovely verse of Scripture!
Eric Gill lived in sheep country in England and Wales for much of his life. I think that is why he gets the wonderful expressions on the faces of his sheep!
I saw Eric Gill's photo online, and he looked amazingly like my junior high school science teacher, Mr. Galbraith -- one of My Most Unforgettable Characters. Maybe that's another reason why I like Gill's work.;-)
