March of the jellyfish? Caspar the Friendly Ghost and a couple of ghostlings, out for a leaf-peeping trek? Nope. These are mushrooms. I found them in my woods, along the road, the other evening.
I will defer to any mycologists in the house for that assessment.;-) I tend to treat 'shrooms with respect; the only wild ones I eat are morels and puffballs, which are easily identifiable and safe.
