Sorry LutheranChik - this has nothing to do with this post..... i was just reading all the comments over at Jesus Creed .... and just wanted to touch base with you. I'm sorry for how that conversation unfolded ... I'm still unpacking and deconstructing the damage that evangelical certainty can create. My attempts at 'bridging the gap' can be found here: www.btgproject.blogspot.com I'd be honoured if you'd give me your honest opinion about whether you find our experiment to be helpful in the big picture. I also didn't see 'sister friends together' in your blog roll and wondered if you knew Anita, the author behind that blog. If you two haven't connected, I think you would really resonate and enjoy one another. shalom, wendy
Wendy: I appreciate you stopping by, but I have no interest "dialoguing" with people who think I'm a reprobate and that my primary relationship with another human being is evil or evidence of an affliction needing curing. I don't care how "friendly" or "open" or "non-confrontational" their overtures to me presume to be. I'm happy, at this point, to remain in my own theological neighborhood with people to whom I don't have to constantly justify my existence nor my relationship.

He's so awesome... I sang this with him my Junior year.
Derek: Yes, he is.
