My mother is having triple bypass surgery tomorrow (Friday) morning at 7:00 EST. Her doctors have given us a positive prognosis for her full recovery, but she was a little shaken today because the surgery is happening so soon.
Thanks to all who've sent encouraging words and prayers. They mean a great deal to us. Thank you for being Christ for us.
Praying for both of you.
ReplyDeleteI'll be praying for both of you in the morning as well. God be with you and all will be well.
ReplyDeleteYou are in my prayers, LC. And your mother and surgeons. God's peace and strength uphold you in the days to come.
ReplyDeleteI will say special prayers during the time your Mom is in surgery, and you are in the waiting room. God will be with you both every moment of the way.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep you and your mother in my prayers, especially during surgery time tomorrow. Please keep us all posted as you can.

You're both in my prayers. As for the heart surgery .... Been there, done that, got the T-Shirt. Warn your mom that when this is over they'll tell her the aches and pains are from age.
ReplyDeleteKeeping both of you in my prayers. Its too early in the morning to work out the time of the operation here - but I'm still praying!!
ReplyDeleteI'm reading this on Friday morning, so will pray my way through the day for you both. Blessings and shalom.
ReplyDeleteLC, I know this is so scary, but as someone who sees these patients a good bit, let me at least reassure you and your mom that bypass is so commonly done now, and they have so perfected techniques, that people generally do amazingly well. I will be sending up prayers for your mom and you, and hope you'll feel God's warm embrace around you bringing you peace. God Bless...
ReplyDeleteFor the doctors and nurses caring for your mother...
ReplyDeleteSanctify, O Lord, those whom you have called to the study and practice of the arts of healing, and to the prevention of disease and pain. Strengthen them by your life-giving Spirit, that by their ministries the health of the community may be promoted and your creation glorified; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
